This prop was built for the 2014 short film The Last Man, directed by Gavin Rothery. The binoculars were designed by Matthew Clark, built for the film by me. The process involved transcribing Matthew’s design into flat pieces that were then cut on a laser out of acrylic sheets. The lenses were cannibalized out of an old camera.
