This Norse mythology-themed deck box was made made out of walnut, with a ceder interior and an internal locking mechanism that is engaged or disengaged with the turn of the Tyr Rune (center). As the rune is rotated, the three surrounding runes will flip to reveal other symbols dear to the client.

The alternating runes are achieved through the use of a Geneva drive, which converts continuous rotation into intermittent rotary motion. As the center rune turns, it engages both the locking mechanism and the Genevia drive, which through a series of gears place motion on the runes.
